Juventus have been forced to renounce the signing of a Real Madrid player after their X account was compromised.  The Serie A side left fans shocked on Tuesday after announcing the transfer of Los Blancos star Arda Guler despite the transfer window being closed.  A photo of the Turkish midfielder appearing to arrive at an airport runway was posted and captioned: 'Welcome to Juventus, Arda Guler! The rising star of football is now part of the #Juventus family!

He gestured furiously, kicked the turf, and stormed away muttering to himself after the squandered chance, with Los Blancos 1-0 up in the first half after a Kylian Mbappe goal. Carlo Ancelotti later praised the England star for having the 'balls' and 'character' to fume at his team-mate. Vinicius Jr had the chance to flash a cross in to Bellingham but instead shot and missed from a tight angle and fell over - but he had beaten three men to work the chance.

Real Madrid are reportedly considering an alternative right-back signing to Trent Alexander-Arnold. Alexander-Arnold has been heavily linked with a move to Real, with Liverpool reportedly beginning to accept that the England international will leave Anfield with his contract set to expire in the summer. The 26-year-old could leave Liverpool as early as January, with Real seeking a replacement for Dani Carvajal, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Alexander-Arnold will be free to talk to foreign clubs in January. 

Carlo Ancelotti has piled on the praise for Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe, claiming the Frenchman is 'a different player' after missing international duty. Mbappe has had a whirlwind few weeks which began with turning down the call-up for international duty to focus on his recovery from a hamstring injury, which did not go down too well in France.  This was then followed by a rape allegation made against the Real Madrid player in Stockholm, which took place at the hotel where he was  staying over the international break, one which he strenuously denies. 

SAMI MOKBEL AND CRAIG HOPE: On Wednesday it was claimed by FA chief executive Mark Bullingham that - together with technical director John McDermott - the organisation has interviewed 'approximately 10 coaches' which included 'some English candidates' before appointing Thomas Tuchel. However, it is understood at least seven of the most suitable home-grown coaches were not interviewed by the FA. On Friday afternoon, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti also denied he was approached for the job.

The Reds defender is out of contract at the end of the season, with speculation over his future rife and seemingly little progress being made in contract negotiations. He has spent his entire career with the club, becoming one of the best passers in world football, and Madrid's interest in his services has been little secret over the last few months. While he could still sign a new deal at Anfield, it is looking more and more as though he will leave the club, with the 26-year-old allowed to speak to other clubs in January and move for free at the end of the season.

The former Chelsea boss will be only the third non-English manager of the men's England team and first since Fabio Capello quit in 2012. A press conference to announce his appointment is expected to be held at Wembley soon. Tuchel's appointment will end a near-three-month search for Gareth Southgate 's successor, with Lee Carsley taking interim charge since his departure and overseeing a total of six games.

He is the third foreign boss to be appointed manager of the men's team, and a press conference on the back of the appointment is expected to be held at Wembley soon. Wales was always what mattered most to Bale. Mbappe was making a statement decision to put Real Madrid ahead of Les Bleus.

After emerging as one of the most highly-touted graduates from La Masia in recent years, the 20-year-old midfielder quickly became a key figure for both club and country. Dani Carvajal will have surgery in the coming days after he suffered a serious knee injury during Real Madrid's 2-0 win against Villarreal. Carvajal, 32, was in tears as he was carried off the pitch on a stretcher following a challenge with Yeremy Pino on Saturday. A statement from the Spanish club read: 'Following tests carried out on Dani Carvajal by the Real Madrid medical services, the player has been diagnosed with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, a ruptured external collateral ligament and a ruptured popliteus tendon in his right leg. He will undergo surgery in the coming days.'

Kylian Mbappe is expected to ruled out for three weeks after suffering a thigh injury during Real Madrid's LaLiga victory over Alaves on Tuesday night. Mbappe, who scored in a fifth straight match to put his side 2-0 up five minutes before half-time at the Bernabeu, was replaced by Arda Guler in the 79th minute after seemingly feeling some discomfort. A Real statement on Wednesday read: 'After the tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappe by the Real Madrid medical team, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the (left thigh).'

Jude Bellingham was involved in a heated altercation with the referee during Real Madrid's clash with Espanyol on Saturday night.  Carlo Ancelotti's men came from behind to claim a 4-1 victory at the Bernabeu, with Bellingham among the booked players.  The 21-year-old was shown a yellow moments before he was substituted with seven minutes remaining and was a frustrated figure after his x-rated rant. 

Bellingham's younger sibling, Jobe, scored a brace for Sunderland in a Championship match against Rotherham in August 2023, sealing a 2-1 victory for his side, while his elder brother and Ancelotti watched on from a distance. However, Jude's delight soon gave way to horror after Madrid boss Ancelotti told him he intended to sign Jobe and play him in his usual midfield position. Later that day, though, Bellingham reminded Ancelotti exactly why he had scrambled to snap him up after scoring a brace of his own against Almeria.

The forward (right) had a turbulent time in the French capital during his seven years at the club, eventually leaving for free in the summer and making the move to Real Madrid in Spain. It had looked as though he would leave PSG on a number of occasions prior to that, however, none moreso than when he eventually signed a two-year contract extension in the summer of 2022. It had seemed that the now-25-year-old would leave the club that summer after an apparent fall out, just weeks after signing a new deal with the option of a third. Things weren't all rosy from there, however.

Mangan was thought to have landed the dream gig due to his strong rapport with Davide Ancelotti, who is a coach at Madrid. The Athletic have claimed that Carlo and Davide were on the lookout for an English coach with experience in the EFL and Mangan was recommended to the boss.
