Bad news for all Shawnmila fans hoping for a reconciliation! Camila Cabello appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday and discussed her friendship with Shawn Mendes. While speaking with host Alex Cooper, she dropped the bomb that she’s not against getting back together with exes:

Accessorizing with a matching sapphire necklace and strappy black sandals, she kept the remainder of her appearance minimal.

Following their Coachella reunion in April, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have reportedly decided to break up again. According to Entertainment Tonight, the singers "give it a try, but the timing isn't right for either of them." According to reports, the executives are now "being occupied and doing their own things." Reps for Cabello and Mendes did not respond right away to POPSUGAR's call for comment. It's unclear if or not this breakup will be final, which is the point of contention between Cabello and Mendes' followers now. While on tour with Austin Mahone in 2014, the two's friendship goes back to 2014. Though their chemistry attracted followers right from the start, they remained only friends and dated other people for years. They also worked on two hit songs: "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Seorita" in 2015 and 2019. Mendes confessed that they were always in love with Cabello when they first began dating in 2019.

Following their November 2021 split, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes were caught on video kissing at the music festival over the weekend, prompting fans to ask if they're really back together. In any case, Cabello seems to have been ly inspired by music festival affiliations. In a snippet from an unveiled song Cabello's Instagram post on Friday, she sings about asking someone else if they're going to Coachella and promises that if they do, it will consume her thoughts for the weekend. "How come you're just so much better?Is this going to end ever? "I'll f*ck around and find out," she says. "Are you coming to Coachella? If you don't have one, it's okay. I hope you do, honey, because that's all I'm worried about."
