Adrian Dunbar has confirmed that his character in ITV's latest detective drama, Ridley, will have a musical bent, and was thrilled when producers agreed to his offer. As a way to deal with the death of his wife and daughter in a fire, Line Of Duty actor Alex Ridley suggested that he perform in a nightclub he owns as a way to cope. 'Ridley's on a journey of restitution after a tragedy,'' he told the Daily Mail, so there are aspects of his personality, such as his sense of humour, that we didn't see coming.'
