'I have an internal candidate that I think the world of,' he said. 'I do not expect that to happen in the next month or two. So let's all be clear about that.'

Families face summer holiday chaos as Ryanair cancels flights after receiving just 40 of its 57 new Boeing 737 planes in time

Since it will only receive 40 of the 57 approved Boeing 737 MAX 8200 planes (pictured), Ryanair says it will be forced to make'minor schedule updates' before the end of June. Ryanair's new summer schedule is based on a minimum of 50 passengers. Schedule cuts have already been implemented at some of the airline's 'higher cost airports', including Dublin, Milan Malpensa, Warsaw Modlin, and four Portuguese airports, according to the airline. Michael O'Leary (top left), Ryanair's group chief executive, forecast that Ryanair's ticket prices would increase to 10% this summer relative to the same time last year.
Investors have suing Boeing for 'profit over safety' and rushed out faulty 737 MAX planes, according to the company's lawyer

Shareholders have chastised Boeing for prioritizing profit over safety and misleading customers about the company's commitment to building safe aircraft, according to a mid-air cabin panel on an Alaskan Airlines 737 MAX 9 in January. Boeing spent more than four years assuaging investors that it was 'laser-focused' on safety and not sacrifice profit for profit, according to the lawsuit, which was filed on Tuesday. Boeing's statements were inaccurate and misleading, according to shareholders, who mistook the word 'poor quality control' on its assembly line and caused the stock price to rise.
Even as lower-level workers are forced to return, Boeing's top executives are defying their return to work, with CEO David Calhoun's private jet barely making a stop at Virginia's headquarters

Boeing is attempting to attract employees back to the office with happy hours and even visits from alpacas, but low-level employees believe executives should also follow suit. In recent years, CEO David Calhoun has taken over 400 private jet trips from his home and is seldom seen in the Virginia headquarters, who prefers to work remotely. The company's CFO is also rarely seen at the office despite Boeing recently opening a small office in Connecticut just five minutes away from home
