Brendan John Canty (born March 9, 1966 in Teaneck, New Jersey) is an American singer, composer, editor, and film director, best known as the drummer for the band Fugazi. Based on his drumming work with Fugazi, Stylus Magazine ranked Canty at #29 on the list of "50 Greatest Rock Drummers" in 2007.
