Bradley Thomas Cole (born February 11, 1959) is an American actor.

Early years

Bradley "Brad" Cole, a singer-songwriter, actor, and producer, was born and raised in Southern California. He began guitar lessons at 8 years old and was heavily inspired by 1960s and 70s rock and soul music. Throughout his teen and high school years in California, he was in various rock bands.

Cole studied drama and finance at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where he also played baseball. He had hoped to play professionally until a back injury put it off, and he turned his attention to acting and music. Cole was named "Best Actor" for his role in "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest." [Pepperdine University] 1981] He then went to Europe, where he performed solo and in groups in clubs and small venues.

Career

Cole founded "La Version Originale," a French theater company, where he appeared in classic American dramas like "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf," as well as original plays that he authored and for which he arranged the music. He continued writing and performing in bands in Paris as well as other European cities. During this period, he was featured in both French and American television and film, including the made-for-television films Jewels and The Sun Also Rises, feature films Sweet Revenge, Touch and Die, and 5 Days in June and the international soap "Riviera." He is best known in France for his role as Daniel Green on the famous "cult" sitcom "Les Filles d'à Côté."

Cole moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in the late 1990s, to record his first album of original compositions. The album was first released in Europe and is set to be re-released in 2022. He was noticed by casting director Glenn Daniels and was staged in "The Guiding Light" in the early 2000s to portray the dual protagonists of "Prince Richard" and "Jeffrey O'Neil," the love interest of "Reva Shayne," a period that lasted for more than ten years, and was played by 5 time Emmy winner Kim Zimmer in New York City. His role(s) earned him a Soap Digest Award nomination and best supporting actor Emmy nomination, as well as numerous times in CBS Soap Digest magazine.

Cole performed and released three more albums of original music and toured extensively throughout America, mostly in small clubs and pubs from coast to coast during his time in New York. While in New York, he appeared in off-Broadway theater as well as in Shakespeare's productions in Princeton, New Jersey. His music has been posted on social media platforms, as well as YouTube. Cole took a long break from entertainment to be a stay-at-home father after the birth of his second child. He returned to television star in 2021 on the French soap "Les Mysteres De L'Amour" ("The Mysteries of Love"), and he returned to television guest hosting the "Les Mysteries of Love."
