Blair Dunlop (born 11 February 1992) is an English singer and comedian.

Early life and education

Dunlop is the son of folk-rock musician Ashley Hutchings (formerly a member of Fairport Convention) and singer Judy Dunlop. He was given a scholarship to attend Foremarke Hall in Derbyshire, which he attended from 2003 to 2005 and then transferred to Repton School, which was part of Foremarke Hall. In Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, directed by Tim Burton, Dunlop made his film debut as a young actor. Willy Wonka, a boy with a difficult set of orthodontic headgear under tight control by his father, who works as a dental specialist, was portrayed by Dunlop. Dunlop appeared on Rocket Man, a television show in his native United Kingdom.

Professional career

Blair Dunlop now works as a singer-songwriter and guitarist. He took over the leadership of The Albion Band from Hutchings in 2011, but the band fell in 2013 to concentrate on his solo career.

He has released one EP and three albums. Blight and Blossom, his first full-length solo album, was released on Rooksmere Records in 2013. House of Jacks, Jack Jacks' second solo album, was announced in May 2014. Gilded, his third album, was released on his own record label Gilded Wings Records on May 6, 2016. Notes From An Island, his own brand, was released in May 2018.
