After a long fight with colon cancer, lead singer of the famed rock band Firehouse CJ Snare has died at the age of 64

According to a post on the band's Facebook page, Snare 'passed unexpectedly at home on Friday night, April 5, 2024. He was a young 64 years old when CJ's untimely passing.' TMZ announces that cardiac arrest was the cause of his death, according to Snare's daughter. Snare co-founded Firehouse in the late 1980s and spent four decades as a member of the band alongside Bill Leverty, the band's guitarist, and drummer Michael Foster.
