Jon Rahm revealed his nerves got the better of him during his Champions Dinner earlier this week. As is tradition, the reigning Masters champion hosted a dinner for all the past winners of the major championship in the most exclusive gatherings in golf.  The Spaniard welcomed his guests with an Iberian themed menu that started with a mix of tapas and pintxos, including spicy Basque chorizo, and 'Mama Rahm's Classic Lentil Stew' - and dish made exactly to his grandmother's recipe by chef Jose Andres, who helped Rahm design the menu. However, despite having a home comfort, the 29-year-old admitted he still felt the pressure when it came to delivering his speech to the legends of the game.

ROME'S RIATH AL-SAMARRAI: The overwhelming majority of his clients know who he is and who he is, according to the salesman's estimate. However, every so often someone will turn up to those meetings on the golf courses of Florida with no idea of what makes him different. They'll see his swing, and you can be certain it's the best in the class because at 67, he'll still knock it where he wants to. They'll also hear his pitches and patter, and many businesses will prosper if their company is so upbeat they could charm balls out of lakes.

As the 65-year-old hunts an Irwin win record, golf legend Langer discusses what motivates him

Bernhard Langer has less reason than others to bemoan age's limits, but every so often he feels like a snag. That has translated to a little less than a dwindling number on a spreadsheet in the last year as he ticked his way to 65. 'They keep averages of pretty much everything these days,' he says of Sportsmail. 'I saw it with my driving distances.' I was at 280 yards for about ten years on the seniors circuit, so from 50 to 60, this year, I'm at 275 yards. It comes as a result of your age.'

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 21, 2022
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW BY RIATH AL-SAMARRAI: A decade ago this month? It may have been yesterday. And so Luke Donald is smiling his way into the midst of an amazing weekend. 'I can't believe it's been so long,' he says. "Even now, it's good to sit down and reflect about Medinah every so often.' That was always his style, a thinker more than a shouter, except for the time he wasn't one, when he stood on a bench and belted out songs with champagne-soaked hair.'
