Tim HOWARD talks to the current USMNT No. 1 MATT TURNER about his journey and his first few years of soccer on these shores ahead of the USA's Nations League match against Jamaica. Daniel Matthews listened in... It turns out that Matt Turner and Tim Howard had the same Plan B. One that may have changed the bloodline between the sticks of the United States men's national team's national team's sticks. One that would have brought them right back to their roots but not far away from home. Turner's history had always been hazy until he came across some papers that outlined his great grandmother's journey from Lithuania to New York. During World War II, she was fleeing religious persecution.

As the $20 million Vikings wideout attempts to muzzle her, NFL star Justin Jefferson faces paternity in New Jersey after reportedly pressuring ex-girlfriend to have an abortion: mother demands healthcare and assistance as the $20 million Vikings wideout threatens to silence her

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 28, 2024
In New Jersey, NFL quarterback Justin Jefferson is facing paternity charges, where the Minnesota Vikings receiver is accused of pressuring the child's mother to request an abortion. In Essex County (New Jersey), Jefferson and his ex-girlfriend Andrea Galea filed countersuits against each other last month. Family Court. DailyMail.com has since obtained those filings. Galea is a recent University of Miami Law School graduate who previously attended Louisiana State University with Jefferson. According to her paternity lawsuit, the two were romantically linked in 2019 before drifting apart and reconnecting in April of 2023. Galea claims that Jefferson fathered her daughter Stella, who was born in late December. Galea has called for financial assistance and medical services for the child from Jefferson, as well as accusing the former first-round draft pick of pressuring her to abort the child during her pregnancy. Her counsel hasn't responded to DailyMail.com's appeal for comment. Jefferson also requested a paternity test in January, but refused to make public information about the child known on social media. In addition, his counsel hasn't responded to DailyMail.com's email requesting a statement.

When you don't want to get pregnant, you should have a Breeding Kink

www.popsugar.co.uk, February 22, 2024
I was attending a party when I revealed my "pregnancy fetish" — a term coined by my new partner — to a friend. The suggestion of my partner impregnating me (read: ejaculating inside me) during sex, was, to put it politely, highly exciting. "That's a breeding kink," my friend replied — a term I'd never heard. A quick Google search led me to the "impregnation fetishism" Wikipedia page, and for the first time, I could put a name to a sexual craving I had experienced, but struggled to describe for years.

According to a gynecologist, the morning after pill could be extremely USELESS for nearly 25 million American women

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 13, 2024
As the big V Day arrives, couples will no doubt be planning: restaurant reservations, bikini waxes, and choosing flowers. According to studies, considering safe sex at the end of the night is not the most romantic of plans, and it's a common one to fall off the list. However, women's health experts have taken to social media to warn some women that if they want to avoid pregnancy, they should be extra cautious - as the most common method of emergency contraception doesn't work. Dr. Charis Chambers, a Georgia-based OBGYN, posted a video on Instagram, where she has 247,000 followers, said that levonorgesterel (also known as Plan B) is much less effective for heavier women.

As Tory Right protests Rishi Sunak's 'fatally flawed' Plan B on Rwanda, immigration minister Robert Jenrick reveals the meltdown over an emergency law that DOESN'T authorize deportations from European human rights legislation

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 6, 2023
As the Tory Right attacked Rishi Sunak's 'fatally flawed' new initiative to move migrants to Rwanda, immigration minister Robert Jenrick was expected to have resigned tonight. Laura Farris, a junior Home Office colleague, revealed the Cabinet minister's resignation from government. When asked on LBC radio if she could tell Mr Jenrick had resigned, she replied, 'I believe he has.' Mr Jenrick resigned after the Prime Minister announced emergency measures to ensure flights to the east African nation were in the air by the Spring. MPs screamed over Mr Sunak's inability to take the most hardline options to get the asylum scheme up and running once more. The prime minister seemed to have appeased Tory moderates, with the One Nation party of MPs congratulating his decision "to continue to comply with the UK's international obligations, which uphold the rule of law." Mr Sunak would attempt to prevent further human rights abuses to the Rwanda scheme by new law that declares the east African nation a'safe' destination for those crossing the Channel in small boats. This evening, a new law that will attempt to'disapply' portions of the 1998 Human Rights Act in an attempt to guarantee flights can take off before the next general election. The Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill will also encourage ministers to disregard decisions issued by the European Court of Human Rights judges, as the preceding paragraph shows. However, it falls short of removing from the Strasbourg court's jurisdiction. It also has provisions for certain migrants to unlawfully challenge their removal to Rwanda.

In the fear that new tactics will be thwarted by government lawyers, Downing Street has promised to make the Rwanda deal 'watertight.'

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 4, 2023
The Plan B for Rwanda deportations will be 'watertight,' according to last night, despite concerns that new tactics may be thwarted by government lawyers. According to insiders, the Prime Minister is steadfast in making the new emergency legislation to tackle illegal migration'very robust,' despite warnings from within Whitehall that it will not repeal human rights laws. Mr Sunak is also expected to authorize millions more pounds to Rwanda to strengthen the country's asylum system, while Home Secretary James Cleverly is set to sign an improved deal with the East African country next week. It comes as the most recent estimates show 1,264 would-be refugees escaped the Channel in the last week, with 519 on Saturday alone.

A failed strategy will not stop the boats,' Suella Braverman says, Sunak must 'end spin' over Rwanda, and that Parliament must amend the Illegal Migration Act to bring flights next year

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 17, 2023
Braverman (left) wrote an article for the Telegraph that 'it needs the government to put an end to self-deception and spin to bring the Rwanda cooperation to a conclusion.' "There must be no more magical thinking," she said. The boats will not be stopped if tinkering with a failed strategy would not stop the ships.' Plan B of Sunak (right) would not work before the election is over, according to the author, since it is simply a 'tweaked version of the failed Plan A' that would have to go through a lengthy approval process through the courts again. According to the former Home Secretary, the situation requires an update to the Illegal Migration Act. She outlined a five-step project in the hopes that migrant flights to Rwanda would begin soon.

I'll be back... as a self-help guru! Plan B is simply a ticket to fail; never give up; and remember to scrape the bottom of your boots. Schwarzenegger's latest book, Achieving Arnie, teaches us all how to become more Arnie

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 12, 2023
Be Useful, Arnold Schwarzenegger's latest book, is not an autobiography but a roadmap to better living, delivered with humour, distinctive self-deprecating charm, honesty, and endearing profanity. The book is certainly best read in a guttural Austrian accent. The only advice his dad gave him is to be Be Useful. It's all here, and you can do a lot of it yourself: have a vision (Arnie's is America, its Cadillacs, and skyscrapers, which make Austria's tallest building look like a tool shed), think big and work hard because, as Arnie says, "working your ass off is the only thing that does 100% of the things worth doing."

Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt re-team to produce a remake of The Thin Man which will be a 'modern retelling' of the 1934 Dashill Hammett novel

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 10, 2023
Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt will be collaborating on a remake of The Thin Man after teaming up on to film in last year's Babylon. Via The Wrap, Robbie's LuckyChap Entertainment and Pitt's Plan B production companies have earned the rights to the 1934 film The Thin Man. The rights to Dashiell Hammett's iconic 1934 novel - considered by some to be one of the best detective books ever - are only recently available. There is no way to tell if Robbie, 33, and Pitt, 59, have any plans on appearing in the film themselves.

Roy Wood Jr., 44, of EXITS, is the show's current correspondent, who explains that he was fired because he wasn't chosen for top hosting jobs because he wasn't chosen for top hosting duties

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 5, 2023
Roy Wood, Jr., a long-serving correspondent for The Daily Show, has left the show for a new one. When it resumes production of new episodes on October 16, he will not be returning to the Comedy Central show. The comedian told NPR, 'I can't come up with Plan B if you're still working with Plan A.' Although he does not have a grudge against the show, he did leave because he was not selected for the hosting position in the aftermath of Trevor Noah's departure. 'The job of a correspondent isn't really one where you can juggle multiple things.' [And] I think eight years is a good thing.'

As the United States sees a surge in infections, new CDC recommendations recommends taking a common drug after unprotected sex to reduce the risk of an STD

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 3, 2023
According to recent health advice, taking a common antibiotic within 72 hours of having unprotected sex can reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported on Monday that it is seeking feedback on its plan to provide the antibiotic doxycycline (doxy-PEP) to gay and bisexual men, as well as transgender women with unprotected sex. The antibiotic, according to the department, could reduce the chance of developing STIs like chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis, which have erupted into an epidemic in the United States. Dr. Jonathan Mermin, the CDC's National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), said: "Doxy PEP is leading HIV prevention efforts into the 21st century.' To turn the STI epidemic around, we need game-changing technologies, and this is a major step in the right direction.'

According to a report, taking a tablet given to arthritis sufferers can make it work 50% better

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 16, 2023
Levonorgestrel, also known as Levonelle in the United Kingdom or Plan B in the United States, was found to be 66% effective on its own. When given piroxicam, an anti-inflammatory drug that costs about 30p a tablet, this percentage has increased to 95%. Experts said their findings, which were published in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet, were 'exciting.' According to the University of Hong Kong's team, doctors should now consider prescribing piroxicam to women in need of emergency contraception.

After being sexually assaulted by a stranger due to a Mississippi abortion ban, a rape survivor, 13, who didn't know 'how babies were made,' is forced to give birth

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 14, 2023
Due to Mississippi's abortion ban, a 13-year-old rape survivor was forced to give birth. The teen girl gave birth to a healthy baby boy just days after being sexually assaulted by a stranger who noticed her outside her house in the fall of 2022. The young girl became withdrawn after the assault, losing interest in doing the things that normally made her happy. Her mother could tell something wasn't right after the attack, and eventually asked her daughter if she thinks she might be pregnant. They hadn't even had a discussion about how babies were made.

DAILY MAIL COMMENT: An island outpost sells a Plan B

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 7, 2023
DAILY MAIL COMMENT: Since the Appeal Court found the Rwanda scheme illegal, ministers are drafting a Plan B to destabilize the traffickers' organization's constant armada of small boats. This could include taking asylum seekers who enter the United Kingdom in this way to Ascension Island, which could include deporting them to the remote South Atlantic outpost for their claims to be processed, as this paper explains. Ascension would bypass the safety and jurisdiction concerns raised by the court against Rwanda, so there is a natural connection to the scheme.

If the Rwanda effort is thwarted by ministers under a new 'Plan B', channel migrants could be sent to Ascension Island 4,000 miles from the United Kingdom in the South Atlantic

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 6, 2023
If the Rwanda scheme falters, ministers are making plans to transfer Channel migrants to Ascension Island. Illegal migrants will be moved 4,000 miles to the British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic as part of a pioneering 'Plan B', which is believed to be in its inception stages. As a result of the crash, up to five other nations are negotiating with the Home Office to accommodate those who land in small boats or in the back of lorries under conditions similar to Kigali's.

Jose Luis Mendilibar's feel-good story leaves Jose Mourinho's dark arts in the shade

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 3, 2023
PETE JENSON: When Jose Mourinho was at Real Madrid, the constant squabble of match officials was still at the forefront of his playbook. Everyone was encouraged to participate, and matchday delegate Miguel 'Chendo' Porlan created a way to track orders without really following orders. With all the apparent rage and rage demanded by his boss, the former Real Madrid full back will greet the fourth official, but it will not be open the following morning, out of earshot. On Wednesday, seeing the regular movement of incandescent demonstrators spring off the Roma bench in the Europa League final, it was a reminder that Mourinho, rather than relegate the war games to one side, believes in them more than ever.

Parents were left 'horrified' by the new edition of the Pioneer Yearbook from Kirkwood High School in Missouri, which was bound to be a 'horrified'. It contained spreads on 'hook-up culture' and drug use, as well as being plastered with photos of condom wrappers and pregnancy tests. The yearbook's editors have since defended their editorial choices, arguing that they have the right and freedom to announce what they believe is important.'

Leeds are at a crossroads: Survive and 49ers buy out the club, go down and it's a talent fire sale

www.dailymail.co.uk, May 12, 2023
IAN LADYMAN: Nevertheless, Allardyce sat behind a desk this week and released what seemed to be a pretty strong warning to the players of Leeds United, his 13th club in his managerial career. "I told them, "We can't afford to have lost when we come off the field on Saturday," Allardyce said ahead of Newcastle's home game on Saturday. In terms of the pressure we have put on ourselves, this is a cauldron.' But fear must motivate them. They should fight for their club and their reputation because of the possibility of relegation.' There's a lot to be lost at Leeds. If the Yorkshire club can't lift its head off the canvas and is relegated for more than a fortnight, a playing squad Allardyce believes there will be no balance and numbers will be cut by 55%.

In the United States, the leading FDA committee has voted unanimously to make birth control available over the counter

www.dailymail.co.uk, May 11, 2023
A panel of health experts from the Food and Drug Administration said on Wednesday that the birth control pill Opill should be available for over-the-counter use. It would be the first form of birth control in the United States and would not be available without a prescription. The findings came after two days of discussion over whether women could safely take the pill without medical supervision. The majority of women could be trusted to take the medication on a schedule that was not in danger, according to the researchers. If approved, sales could begin later this year, but the price point is still unclear.

www.dailymail.co.uk, May 9, 2023
For the first time in US history, women could have access to birth control pills without a prescription this summer. In about 94 percent of cases, the progestin-only mini-pill stops unwanted pregnancies, and making it available over the counter could increase the availability of effective birth control to over 19 million American women.
