Beau Hossler Career

Professional career

With just one year of college eligibility remaining, the host turned professional in 2016.

On the Web.com Tour, Hossler won one of 12 open qualifying positions for the Air Capital Classic in June 2017. He came in second, allowing him to participate in more Web.com Tour tournaments this season. He finished the regular season in 23rd place in the rankings, earning a spot in the PGA Tour.

Hossler lost in a sudden-death playoff at the Houston Open in April 2018 to Ian Poulter. He was co-leader after 54 holes and led the tournament by a stroke on the 18th hole until Poulter birdied to call a playoff. Hossler fired his bunker shot into the ground on the first extra hole, resulting in a triple bogey and the playoffs. This was still Hossler's best showing on the PGA Tour to date.
