After being diagnosed with a form of progressive Parkinson's Disease, Democratic U.S. congresswoman Jennifer Wexton, 55, said on Monday that she would not seek reelection. Rep. Wexton currently serves Virginia's 10th congressional district, which includes extremely wealthy Washington, D.C. suburbs like Loudon County and Fairfax County. The announcement made on Monday follows Wexton's statement in April that she had been diagnosed with Parksinon's disease but that she was intending to continue serving in Congress.
