A collection of antique dolls, amassed by a couple over 75 years, has sold for £632,000 at auction, with some fetching £15,000 on their own. Austin Smith and his late partner Margaret Harkins filled their property near Bath, Somerset, with more than 1,000 dolls from a variety of time periods, including a number dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. The claim called for a ban on treatment in adolescents, hormonal therapy, and even gender-affirming surgical procedures.
