On SVT Play, the first season of Flam's self-produced program Folkets företrädare premiered in autumn 2013. Folkets främsta is a television program that airs satire on various aspects of the Swedish government and similar topics. Flam and others, as well as others, including David Druid and Henrik Dorsin, address the camera. In a partially new format, the program began in autumn 2015 in a third season. With a greater emphasis on news and current affairs, the third season has longer episodes and is broadcast weekly.

Flam's book Det här tiger ("This is a Swedish Tiger"), which discusses Sweden's official policies during World War II, was published in 2020. Flam's book says that Sweden supported the German war effort tactfully and consistently under the mask of anonymity. He dismisses Swedish attempts to save Jews from Nazi persecution as insignificant, while others dismiss the results of these efforts as exaggerated.

Prosecutors in Sweden confiscated the entire third print run of the book (2000 copies), alleging that the back of the book contained an image of the symbol En svensk tiger, a tiger sporting Sweden's national colors of blue and yellow. The photograph was part of a war-time information campaign run by the Swedish Military Preparedness Museum (Beredskapsmuseet). The case was brought to court on September 24, 2020, and it sparked some controversy in Swedish media about censorship and the boundaries of parody. Flam was not found not guilty by the Swedish courts.
