Arjuna Harjai is an Indian composer, singer, and actor who works in Bollywood. He is also known for writing famous advertisement songs. His collaboration with director Nikkhil Advani, who also composed music and lyrics for film Guddu Engineer and television series P.O.W. Critics also lauded Bandi Yuddh Ke.

P.O.W.'s P.O.W. Bandi Yuddh Ke, Harjai produced the original score for 107 episodes and composed six songs, as well as co-stars Nandini Srikar,Shashaa Gandhi, and Surabhi Dashputra. His contribution to Nikkhil Advani's Lucknow Central Film, in which Arjuna Harjai composed three songs, background score, and trailers and commercials.

Early life and education

Harjai started learning Hindustani classical music from his parents at a young age and was exposed to many musical styles. In 2006, he moved to Mumbai to further study under playback singer Suresh Wadkar. He played piano as his main instrument from an early age and went on to study at Trinity College, graduating in 2008 as the top scorer in Audio Engineering. He studied jazz and counterpoint compositions in 2009 as part of various music exchange programs in Delhi and Mumbai.

Career

Harjai continued assisting music composer Lalit Pandit on projects such as Besharam and Dabangg when composing advertising jingles for major companies.

Harjai started writing for cinema when Punjabi producer Rajan batra was looking for a new composer with a distinct vision for his film Titoo MBA. Harjai went on to compose the entire soundtrack for the film. A number of other film soundtracks and songs have followed, and it has continued. Harjai has a huge collection of over 500 advertisement jingles and a dozen of feature films by 2022. Harjai has been working remotely since he moved to the United Kingdom on a dependent visa as his wife is pursuing a postgraduate degree.
