After an undercover police investigation, serial scammers who tricked nine elderly people into handing over nearly £12,000 by compelled them to hand over their bank cards. Arbaaz Khan, 31, was part of a phone scam targeting vulnerable pensioners with an average age of 87. Before the company drained all of the funds from their accounts, Khan would send a "runner" to retrieve the bank card from the victims' homes.
