Two criminals were sentenced to prison for refusing to cooperate in the kidnapping of Liverpool soccer player Luis D'az's parents. Andrés Alcires and Marlon Brito were both suspected of being in touch with members of the National Liberation Army, or ELM, in the planning and execution of D'az's parents, Luis D'az Jiménez and Cilenes Marulanda, the Attorney General's Office said Wednesday. Both Alcires and Brito are under arrest; kidnapping for ransom; and the production, trafficking, and carrying military arms and ammunition.
