Tyrod Taylor is suing Gazzaniga for medical negligence, alleging that his treatment for a rib injury that allegedly resulted in a punctured lung was causing a punctured lung, he's now seeking at least $5 million in damages. The Los Angeles Chargers' starting quarterback Taylor sought medical attention after suffering a rib fracture in the 2020 season, according to team doctor David S. Gazzaniga and the Newport Orthopedic Institute south of Los Angeles. As Gazzaniga attempted to give a painkiller injection to the rib region, Taylor claims he suffered the lung puncture. Gazzaniga's 'negligence, carelessness, and other unlawful, fraudulent, and wrong conduct, according to his lawyers, resulted in Taylor losing his starting position with the Chargers.
