He is buried in Westwood, California, with his second wife Anne Buydens, where Michael posted an Instagram video of himself sitting by their joint grave. Michael, 78, was 'what an extraordinary couple they were,' says the narrator, who was full of emotion. Both of them are sorely missed.' Kirk and Anna's tombstone also marks the resting place of their son Eric, who suffered with heroin use for years before dying of an accidental overdose in 2004 at the age of 46.
