Ann Hamilton (born 1956) is a visual artist known for her large-scale multimedia installations in the early 1980s.
She studied at the University of Kansas in 1979, Alberta, and Montreal, Canada, before deciding to study sculpture at Yale in 1983.
She served on the University of California's faculty from 1985 to 1991.
