Career

Keenan-Bolger, as a youth, appeared in Seussical on Broadway as an alternative Jojo. He has appeared on Broadway as Chip, and As Young Scrooge in Beauty and the Beast. Leaf Coneybear, Ragtime as the Little Boy, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas as Young Max were among the actor's first national tours of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. High School Musical on Stage is among other theater credits. At the 2008 Fringe Festival in North Shore Music Theatre and Perez Hilton Saves the Universe.

He has appeared on television as Christophe on the film The Naked Brothers Band and as a weekly commentator on FNMTV. Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas and Marci X are two of his film credits.

Keenan-Bolger established a YouTube channel to advertise North Shore Music Theatre's production of High School Musical, in which he appeared. Keenan-Bolger appeared on "The Battery's Down" as a regular on the internet series "The Battery's Down" for a week. He is known for his appearance on 'You're in Vegas,' which is available on iTunes.

Together with fellow Broadway actress Kate Wetherhead, Keenan-Bolger co-created Submissions Only in 2010. He acts as the series's producer and editor.

He starred as Robertson Ay in Disney's Broadway production on October 12, 2010 and later appeared on the National Tour in Toronto. He played Omar in Disney's 5th Avenue Theater production of Aladdin (July 2011) and appeared in Disney's Newsies as a writer for the Paper Mill Playhouse (September 2011). Crutchie's last performance date was March 11, 2013, so he's likely to begin rehearsals for his role in Tuck Everlasting's musical version. Jesse Tuck had been supposed to appear in Boston's Colonial Theatre starting on July 28, 2013, but the performance was postponed due to the lack of a suitable theatre for the subsequent transfer to New York. He appeared in A.R. for the second time. Family Furniture, Gurney's drama which ran from November 12 to December 22, 2013 at the Flea Theater in New York City's TriBeCa section. Billy Frazier appeared in the 2014 romantic comedy film The Rewrite, starring Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei.

In the Broadway production of Tuck Everlasting, he revisited Jesse Tuck, which opened on April 26, 2016 and ran until May 29, 2016.

Bolger revisited his role as Crutchie in the Newsies Musical Film on May 23, 2017.
