Fans have mocked former Cardiff City striker Andreas Cornelius for missing a golden opportunity during Denmark's 0-0 World Cup stalemate with Tunisia. Cornelius was introduced in the 65th minute in the hopes of finding the breakthrough after Denmark's struggles to break their opponents down. Andres Christensen nailed down a corner, and Cornelius discovered himself just a yard away from the goal with the goal at his mercy, less than five minutes later. He attempted a diving header rather than kicking the ball home with his foot, but his attempt fell off the post and fans were stunned that he hadn't scored.
