According to the New York Times, the one-bedroom apartments were being rented out for $4,500 and $5,750-a-month respectively. The apartment listing, which has since been updated, outlined how the 'wonderful vegan landlord' is asking that their new tenants obey the 'no meat/fish' rule in their building. Although the landlord said they were welcome to carnivores living in their household, they requested that they refrain from preparing any meat or fish.
