After being dismissed from an unidentified children's performance, Alyson Stoner has confirmed that they were banned from an unidentified children's performance. In a podcast episode of I'm Literally Screaming with Spencewuah, the 29-year-old former Missy Elliot dancer (shown right) - who uses they/them pronouns - made the shocking admission about their experience and struggles during their time as a queer performer in 2018. They were told they were deemed 'unsafe' to work with children by employers due to their sexuality, causing them to be fired and their careers to be forever impacted.
