Melissa Hie, also known online as girleatworld.net, recently wrote about a 'intimidating' situation she encountered herself in with a bogus Paris taxi driver who charged €360 (£312/$387) for a ride. She said the driver became 'aggressive' and led her into her hotel, but she returned him when she paid him €80 (£69/$85).
