However, they were taken unawares when a bear in the distance charged at them in a brisk manner in a nail-biting encounter.

Hikers in Alaska have recalled the tense moment when they came up close to a pair of huge brown bears in the Katmai National Park. On March 10, Alex McGregor posted a video of his 'interesting encounter' with fellow hiker Laura on Tik Tok. As the first brown bear comes into view, he says, 'It's coming right at us.'
