In the second half, Ermedin Demirovic scored a goal back for the hosts, ensuring Bayern would either stay solid or risk losing more ground to the league leaders. Kane however resurrecting his team's two-goal lead and the defending champions before Demirovic's late penalty made it 3-2, narrowing the gap to Xabi Alonsen to one point at least temporarily.
