Alejandro Lozano Morales (March 17, 1939-2003) was a Spanish explorer, painter, and mosaic muralist.

Life

Alejandro Lozano was born in La Toba, Guadala, Spain. He studied humanities at the El Pardo Seminary (Madrid, Spain) from 1951 to 1957. He was ordained on March 13, 1965. Imbibe, a painting, mural, and reconstruction process. He was a Capuchin brother who lived in Barcelona at the Pompeia cloister. He took the classes in Perugia (Italy) between July and August 1966. He attended courses in "Corso de alta cultura" at the "Università Italiana per etranieri" in Perugia, Italy, and had the exhibition "Mostra in Centro Internazionale" (Crocevia).

He produced "Good News" a mosaic mural (10x2 m) for the altarpiece of the cathedral at Ciutat Residencial de E. i D. in Marbella (Málaga, Spain), between 1970 and 1972. In an embracing gesture, the curving surface of the mural adapts to the wall.

Calvary" (19x5 m), he's been around from 1972 to 1974. It is a mosaic on the cathedral of Tucupita's main altar (Delta Amacuro, Venezuela). He makes the mosaics "Saint Francis and Brother Sun" (15 m2) on the right side of the cathedral's right nave and "Divina Pastora" (15 m2) for the link side nave.

He finishes the Drawing Teaching Courses at the Fine Arts University (Escola Superior de Belles Arts) in Barcelona from 1973-1974. He receives his Drawing Teacher certificate, which allows him to extend his teaching career that began long ago.

"Annuntiation," "Baptism in the mission," "Christ and the Samaritan" (3x2 m2) and "Christ's Baptism" for Tucupita's Cathedral facade from 1975 to 1978. The choir and central nave of the cathedral's choir are decorated with mosaic murals by "Santa Cecilia" "Saint Francis trusted by an angel," "Saint Pius X" and "Saint Toribio de Mogrovejo."

May 1975 He receives papal dispensation and marries to Francisca Torreguera (Catalonia, Spain).

He makes his second trip to Venezuela from November-to-October 1978 and continues to the Cathedral's façade, choir, and central nave murals.

He began studying Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona in July 1981.

On September 26, 1982, Tucupita's Cathedral is opened with the attendance of Nuncio, several Bishops, and Venezuela's president.

He continues his artistic mural and painting careers, as well as as a painting and drawing instructor in Barcelona's beloved city. He died in Barcelona at the age of 63.
