A mother feared she'd burn to death if her vaping battery burst in her pocket, putting her puffer jacket 'up in fires.' After announcing that her rechargeable e-cigarette battery had mysteriously burst on January 30th, Leeanne Anderson said she was lucky to be alive. Since being released from hospital, the 43-year-old had undergone wrist surgery the morning before her freak accident and decided to visit her sister. However, minutes after she arrived, Leeanne experienced a 'big explosion' as fires engulfed one half of her body between her knee and shoulder.
