Life
Hashimoto was born in Kumamoto, Prefecture, and was the second of three children. Hashimoto won the HUAHUA audition held by Newcome in 2008; her mother preferred Hashimoto for the audition because she had the best facial appearance out of the three sisters.
Hashimoto was selected as the youngest "Miss Seventeen" by fashion magazine Seventeen in 2009, alongside Emi Kudo, Arisa Takada, and Alice Hirose, out of 5,267 applicants. She debuted as an actress in Give and Go this year, portraying a deaf girl who is immersed in basketball.
Hashimoto appeared in Confessions in 2010 and appeared in The Kirishima Thing in 2012, for which she received new face awards from the Japan Academy and Kinema Junpo. She appeared in Sadako 3D as Sadako.
