Afrdita Dreshaj (born July 19, 1986) is an Albanian-Kosovar singer and fashion model best known for being named Miss Universe Kosovo 2011 and representing the Republic of Kosovo in Miss Universe 2011.

Dreshaj is a well-known singer in Albanian speaking countries, having debuted with her debut in 2009 with "N'se Burr."

Personal life

She began her modeling career at the age of 17, after being discovered by a photographer. She was previously engaged to Albanian singer Shpat Kasapi.Dreshaj and her husband, Czech ice hockey defenseman Jakub Kindl, now live in Michigan, USA. Since March 2021, she was a parent to a baby named Sky Blue Kindl.

Life and career

Afrdita Dreshaj was born in 1986 in Titograd, Yugoslavia, with an Albanian family (present-day Podgorica, Montenegro). Dreshaj was named Miss Universe Kosovo and the country's representative at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in January. Dreshaj, a Brazilian, moved from 89 competitors to the top of the Miss Universe 2011 semi-finals, winning a total of 16.
