Eric Ramsay, a Manchester United assistant, has been named Minnesota United's youngest head coach since the 32-year-old became Minnesota United's youngest manager in MLS: 'I thank the club for putting faith in me.'

Ramsay, 32, became the youngest coach in Major League Soccer upon his arrival. He joins Minnesota United after being a Manchester United assistant coach under Erik ten Hag for Manchester United in the Premier League. Ramsey has also worked with Chelsea, Swansea, and Shrewsbury Town. 'I'm so excited to be joining a club with such a strong football tradition, a devoted fan base, and a superb infrastructure,' Ramsay said. 'I've spoken to a lot of the club's workers throughout the season, and you can't help but feel everyone's excitement for moving the club forward.'

Everton v Aston Villa is the original Old Firm, with the clubs meeting for 212th time in England's most-played league game that holds just a three-goal difference

Two ancient rivals clash once more. Mighty founders of the Football League with their rich pasts and whelming recent histories, as well as an intricate storyline that made their match the most controversial of all top-flight fixtures. They are in Liverpool today for the 212th time in all, and their records are so close that they barely have four victories and three goals to distinguish them over 135 years. They have 34 major trophies between them, with at least one in each decade from the beginning of organised football to the start of this millennium, minus the 1940s when war intervened.

Nottingham Forest have received an offer from MLS side Minnesota United for striker Hwang Ui-Jo

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 13, 2023
Hwang Ui-Jo, a Nottingham Forest forward, is a point of concern for MLS side Minnesota United. Adrian Heath's side has made an application to the Premier League and would like to bring the South Korean on a permanent basis, but Forest is more accommodating to a loan agreement. The 30-year-old is currently on loan at Olympiacos in Greece, and he will need to be recalled if any contract is to take place in January.
