Adolfo Suaya (born March 16, 1961) is an Argentine-American restaurateur, hotelier, and television host.
Gaucho Grill, Dolce, the Lodge, Osaka, and others have all established or funded numerous Southern California restaurants and bars, including Gaucho Grill, Dolce, Osaka, and others.

Early life
Suaya was born on March 16, 1961. He dropped out of high school early to pursue entrepreneurship. He began designing and making ski jackets at the age of 17. Suaya moved to Europe at the age of 21, where he spent a year and a half before returning to Buenos Aires to study acting. He moved to Los Angeles in 1985 to thoroughly investigate film and acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Suaya appeared in a few films and directed another before deciding on his entrepreneurial career after his schooling.
Career
In 1986, Suaya opened Gaucho Grill, his first restaurant on Sunset Boulevard. He had opened a franchise of 12 Gaucho Grill restaurants by 1996. He opened Dolce Enotecae Ristorante in 2003. By 2006, he was the landlord or tenant of 15 Southern California restaurants, including Memphis, Bella Cucina, The Lodge, Geisha House, Sushi Roku, and others. He was also in the process of opening Goa Nightclub and BlackSteel.
Suaya ventured out into hospitality in 2008, opening Casa Suaya, a luxury hotel in José Ignacio, Uruguay. He opened The Surly Goat, a West Hollywood bar on Santa Monica Boulevard two years ago. Suaya's number of restaurants or bars in which Suaya had a stake had decreased from 17 at his peak to three this year.
Suaya began hosting Latin American Foodies on Sun Channel television in 2008. The program was broadcast in Latin American and featured Suaya traveling to various places to try food from local eateries. Suaya opened The Phoenix, a Beverly Hills bar on La Cienega Boulevard in 2013. Suaya moved the restaurant to Los Angeles and rebranded it as a whiskey bar. In 2015, he opened the Hotel Clásico in Palermo, Argentina. He also opened the Casa Suaya Condo Hotel, a companion to the original Casa Suaya in José Ignacio. Suaya registered a hotel near the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles in June 2016. He also started working on a new series called Foodie Trips, which also appeared on the Sun Channel.
