The Game Is Afoot! In "Enola Holmes 2" a First Look, Millie Bobby Brown is able to Solve Mysteries

www.popsugar.co.uk, August 19, 2022
Netflix's "Enola Holmes," which officially dropped in September 2020, delivered a fun family-friendly adventure centred on the keen young detective Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown), and now it's getting a sequel — and soon! Deadline announced Netflix was expanding on the franchise's next iteration in May 2021, and now, fans have a first glance. The first film is based on author Nancy Springer's book "The Enola Holmes Mysteries," specifically the 2006 debut tome "The Case of the Missing Marquess." Both the film and novel follow Enola's adventures as she investigates the missing daughter of her mother, Eudoria, while still assisting a runaway nobleman named Viscount Tewkesbury in escaping the looming dangers. The conclusion of the film version made it clear that there was definitely room for the sequel, with Enola just at the start of her true journey. Springer's Enola-centric collection features five other works, so there's a lot of things to pull from for the forthcoming instalment. Despite this, it appears that "Enola Holmes 2" will be based on the second book in the series, "The Case of the Left-Handed Lady." The book describes Enola's quest to find Lady Cecily, a missing young woman who has been evading Sherlock.
