After being tragically wounded in the Turkish earthquake, Christian Atsu (right) and his Ghana international colleagues mourned the footballer's death. At their home in Accra, Ghana's capital, yesterday, his bereaved family accepted condolences from visitors and Atsu's former colleagues. Former Ghana international footballers Abedi Pele, Sule Muntari (top left), and Asamoah Gyan (bottom left) were seen arriving at the hotel to pay their respects and comforting his family. Atsu's death was announced on Saturday by his handler Nana Sechere, who said the player's body had been discovered 12 days after the disaster struck Turkey and Syria, killing more than 44,000 people.
