After shoppers and customers confronted her and called police, Kambria Gabrielle Darby, 26, was arrested in the Byram, Mississippi, a suburb of Jackson, where she was arrested. Even after another shopper bought him a long-sleeved shirt and pants and dressed him in the store, the two-year-old boy was already 'freezing and squeezing.' Darby wrote a 656-word Facebook post defending herself after being released on bail, claiming she was being treated 'done as Jesus was'. There were 54 photos of her children that she said she was a good mother, but not 'neglectful' or'mentally ill,' among the post.' Two of her children were at Disney World, posing with gifts under a Christmas tree and eating pumpkins on a farm, and two of her grandchildren were sitting on pumpkins on a farm.

As Walmart employee Felicia Nicole (inset) and other shoppers confronted his mother, the little boy was shivering in as he sat in the shopping trolley in the Jackson, Mississippi store. The young woman said it was 20F or colder when the mother and child came home, but the boy was only wearing a diaper with no shirt, socks, or shoes until another client draped a black jacket over him. A woman (left) bought him a shirt and pants later in life. Felicia said she was fired three days after releasing the video.
