In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to rescue one of their own, the players will have to brave parts unknown from arid deserts to snowy mountains, to escape the world's most dangerous game.

A group of teenagers compete to be the best performer of the summer while at Next Level, a specialized dance/hip-hop/songwriting performing arts program. The producer of the A Cinderella Story film series, Ilyssa Goodman, signed on to direct the film. The movie was conceptualized by a team experienced in the young adult world, which led to casting some of the biggest Gen Z talent.

Trivia

The dance musical hybrid comedy-drama is described as a cross between High School Musical and Mean Girls. The soundtrack included nine original songs, including ones by Lauren Orlando, Hayden Summerall, Emily Skinner, Brooke Butler and Ellarose Kaylor.
