Chloe Elizabeth Lukasiak (born May 25, 2001) is an American actress, dancer, and television presenter.

During Season 1 to Season 4, she is best known for being an original cast member of Lifetime's reality television series Dance Moms.

She then appeared as a regular guest on both Season 7 and Season 7B.

Early life

Lukasiak was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on May 25, 2001, to Christina "Christi" (née Zook) and Marc Lukasiak. Clara, Clara's younger sister, has a younger sister. The family lives in Mars, Pennsylvania. She is of Polish, Scottish, German, and Italian descent.

Lukasiak began dancing lessons at the Abby Lee Dance Company at the age of two. She did "the basics" such as jazz and ballet at first. However, as she got older, she began to do more styles and has excelled in everything but ballroom. Lukasiak competed throughout the United States as part of the Abby Lee Dance Company, winning numerous awards at the regional, state, and national levels. Lukasiak appeared on Dance Moms in a variety of dance styles: lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, acro, Spanish, and Bollywood.

Personal life

Lukasiak was diagnosed with silent sinus syndrome in 2015 and underwent surgery to correct the condition.

Lukasiak said she dances four days a week, except when traveling. She stopped competing in dance competitions in 2016 due to her growing list of commitments. Lukasiak spends time with her family and friends, including Paige Hyland, Nia Frazier, and Brooke Hyland outside of dance.

Lukasiak was accepted into Pepperdine University, where she is studying creative writing, in 2019 and is expected to graduate in 2023. Lukasiak revealed in April 2020 that she had been fighting three types of eating disorders for the past few years by posting a poem on her Instagram page. In a YouTube video on her official YouTube channel, Lukasiak elaborated more about her food disorders.

Lukasiak revealed her friendship with skater and influencer Brooklinn "Brook" Khoury on October 7, 2021. They've been dating since November 2020.

On Lifetime's Dance Moms, Lukasiak and her mother, as well as Abby Lee Dance Company founder Abby Lee Miller, other young dancers, and their parents were included. Miller's Junior Elite Competition Staff assembled together, making up Miller's Junior Elite Competition Staff.

After the Los Angeles national championship in July 2014 (filmed for an episode that aired on October 7, 2014), Lukasiak's mother, who felt that the TV show, as well as her own negative relationship with Miller, was detrimental to her daughter, so she left ALDC. The final episode of Season 4 was Miller's last appearance on Dance Moms as part of the national championship team partially because of Miller's insensitivity towards the fact that Lukasiak was the highest scoring ALDC soloist at Nationals, defeating teammates Kendall Vertes and Kamryn Beck. Lukasiak left ALDC for good and joined Studio 19 Dance Complex after Season 4's conclusion. In July 2015, Lukasiak's competition team advanced to gold medals in nationals.

Lukasiak was invited to be a demonstrator and assistant for Blake McGrath in the VIP Dance Events convention, despite being out of stock for the ALDC. (Calgary, Oct. 2014). Lukasiak also posted several professionally filmed dance videos on her YouTube channel as part of a series called Team Chloe Dance Project. At the 2015 Industry Dance Awards, she received "Choice Dancer" and the "Dancers Choice Award" for "Favorite Dancer 17 & Under." At the 2016 & 2017 Teen Choice Awards, she was once more nominated for the "Choice Dancer" award. She was nominated for a Shorty Award in the category of 'Best in Dance,' but she was disqualified by Misty Copeland. Lukasiak appeared as a guest performer and assistant at several dance conventions in 2015 and 2016. Lukasiak collaborated with Playtex Sport and appeared in their "Ready, Set, Play On" series in 2016. The dancer appears in a commercial. Lukasiak formed Chloe on Pointe in the same year as her own dance web series.

Lukasiak announced on January 27, 2017 that she would return to Dance Moms as a guest star on the Season 7 finale and Season 7B. Lukasiak began with Murrieta Dance Project, but with Nia Sioux, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, and Camryn Bridges, she formed The Irreplaceables. Lukasiak came to Lifetime in April 2017 to star in "Chloe Does It" her own web series. For Seventeen Magazine, Lukasiak produced an anti-bullying dance video. Lukasiak also auditioned for the role of "Annie" in the 2012 Broadway musical Annie, but Actresses Lilla Crawford and Sadie Sink lost the role. Lukasiak appeared in 2013 for the role of "Maddy" in the 2015 film Spare Parts, but Actress Aubrey Miller was omitted. In an interview published on June 15, 2016, Lukasiak said she was grateful to Dance Moms because it showed her how much she loves acting and that she has a passion for it. She appeared in A Cowgirl's Story as Savanah Stocker, alongside former Bridge to Terabithia actress Bailee Madison.
