Barely 21 yet, Frank is a skilled forger who has passed as a doctor, lawyer and pilot. FBI agent Carl becomes obsessed with tracking down the con man, who only revels in the pursuit.

Based on a true story, the movie follows teenager Frank Abagnale, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, successfully forging millions from check fraud and becoming a master of deception. The FBI later hires Frank to use his master skills to help catch other check foragers. 

Trivia

The story is based off of Frank Abagnale's book of the same name. Directer Steven Spielberg finished filming the movie in under 60 days. Christopher Walken won a BAFTA award for best supporting actor through his portrayal of Frank Abagnale, Sr.
