After her last encounter, Ellen Ripley crash-lands on Fiorina 161, a maximum security prison. When a series of strange and deadly events occur shortly after her arrival, Ripley realizes that she has brought along an unwelcome visitor.

David Fincher directed film that sees Ripley fight another Xenomorph in a maximum security prison. It was followed in the series by the 1997 film Alien Resurrection. 

Trivia

The film earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects and also received several Saturn Award nominations including Best Actress (Sigourney Weaver) and Best Director (Fincher).
