Career
Farro, a founding member of Paramore, was born in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2004. Hayley Williams (lead vocals/keyboards), Farro (drums), his older brother Josh Farro (lead guitar and backing vocals), and guitarist Jeremy Davis (bass guitar). Jeremy Davis said he was initially uncertain if the band would be considered seriously due to Zac's youth until he saw him perform. All We Know Is Falling, Riot! Brand New Eyes, two live albums, and one EP are included in the collection. On September 29, 2009, Brand New Eyes, their third album, was released. Taylor York (rhythm guitar), a longtime friend of the Farros' and who performed with them as a touring guest, was welcomed by the band in June 2009. The Farros' amicable departure was announced on December 18, 2010, according to the band's website. Josh Farro and his brother issued a formal resignation statement on December 21, 2010, refuing the band's previous story.
Paramore released a short video of themselves with Farro in a studio on June 8, 2016, which was shared on their social media. A series of photos were preceded by several publications, including both Farro and producer of the forthcoming Paramore album Justin Meldal-Johnsen, attracting followers and many media outlets to speculate about the return of Farro. Later that day, Farro stated that he only recorded drums for the album and that he had not rejoined the band as a full member. "Hell and Paramore" hadn't skipped a beat in a Billboard podcast on August 12, he said the most important thing to him was to reaffirm his band friendship and that being in the studio together "felt like [Farro and Paramore] haven't skipped a beat." Despite initially claiming that he was only performing on their fifth album, it was revealed on February 2, 2017, that Farro had returned as the band's official drummer.
He has appeared on 'Scooby's in the Back', 'French Class,', and 'All The Love Is' by his band HalfNoise at various Paramore gigs, with Hayley doing back up vocals.
Zac performed in "Tunnel," a new project band from Paramore two days after he was fired from Paramore, debuting a new song titled "Hide Your Eyes." Due to other bands' names ending in "Tunnel," the pair renamed themselves "HalfNoise." Farro (drums, vocals) and Jason Clark (guitar, vocals) appeared on the band's website.
On May 29, 2014, HalfNoise unveiled its first single Peak. On September 30, 2014, Farro introduced Volcano Crowe, the Farro's first album.
On June 9, 2016, HalfNoise debuted the single "Know The Feeling" on June 9, 2016, before releasing a music video for the single, directed by Aaron Joseph on June 23, 2016.
After Josh Farro's release from Paramore, the band Novel American's former Cecil Adora members Van Beasley, Ryan Clark, and Tyler Ward briefly, and the group announced plans to record an EP as well as play local venues in the near future.
Tyler Ward will be replaced on drums by Zac Farro on February 22, 2011.
Novel American was scrapped on May 23, 2014, because the band was unable to find a good lead vocalist.
