As Brian Walshe, 46, was led out of a police station, police officers grinned as he was led out of a police station, although police continue to look for his wife Ana Walshe, 39, who vanished on New Year's Day. On January 2nd, a court hearing showed that he bought $450 worth of cleaning supplies from Home Depot while under surveillance. A court heard that they discovered blood on a burnt knife as well as in the basement of their Massachusetts home. Ana, a mother of three, has not been seen since she was unable to board a flight to Washington, DC. Walshe appeared in court on Monday morning, where he was charged with'misleading police' and 'causing a'delay in the investigation.' Authorities claim that it took him time to clean up evidence and dispose of it, along with security camera footage from Home Depot proving that he was lying to officers.

Brian Walshe, 49, has been charged with misleading police in their hunt for his wife and her 39-year-old mother of three, Ana Walshe, who vanished a week ago. On Saturday, police drained the pool at the Walshe's house and searched the woods nearby before calling off the ground search. Ana was last seen at her house on New Year's Day at 4 a.m. on New Year's Day. She had intended to fly from Boston to Washington, D.C., for a work emergency. On Friday, police searched her old house as it caught fire, but officials insist the fire was just a coincidence.

Ana, who is of Serbian descent, was reported missing in the tiny Massachachuse town of just 8,600 residents on Wednesday by her husband and her employer, Tishman Speyer, who is a real estate king. On Friday, police searched Ana's old home (bottom inset) in case it caught fire, although police insist no foul play caused it.

Authorities have turned to the pool behind Ana Walshe's $1.3 million dollar former home that she shared with her husband Brian Walshe, who is desperately looking for missing Massachusetts mother Ana Walshe. The 39-year-old mother of three was last seen on January 1 after she returned to Washington, DC for her work. Both her husband and employer were reported missing on January 4, according to Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley. Investigators were seen on Saturday frantically emerging from ruins that had gathered in the pool as part of the sweep. The missing woman was not found at the house until a few months ago. During the hunt, a strange occurrence occurred when the house went up in flames with authorities assembled on the property a day before. The fire was later determined not to be suspicious and related to defective piping around a gas fireplace. Federal prosecutors announced on Friday that Brian Walshe, 48, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Boston in 2021 after being arrested a few years earlier for selling two fake Andy Warhol paintings to a South Korean buyer for $80,000. Walshe took the paintings from a friend and sold them on eBay, only to switch them out for fakes. Authorities are not sure that her husband's activities are in any way connected to her disappearance.
