According to Deadline, Daniel Craig has officially committed to play the leading role in Luca Guadagnino's forthcoming film adaptation of the 1985 novel titled, Queer. As he retells his life in Mexico City, where he is looking for a discharged American Navy serviceman named Eugene Allerton, the 54-year-old actor will portray William Lee's shy and vulnerable character. Since no longer being a part of the Bond franchise, the actor recently spoke out about the legendary spy and revealed that he had planned his character's death after the 2006 premiere of Casino Royale.
