Leicester City have bid £23.2million for Panathinaikos striker Fotis Ioannidis amid competition from Sporting Lisbon. The Foxes also remain in talks over a possible loan deal for Galatasaray's Wilfried Zaha. Greece international Ioannidis, 24, scored five goals in six Europa League games for Panathinaikos last season. Meanwhile, 31-year-old former Crystal Palace and Man United winger Zaha produced one goal and one assist in six Champions League appearances.

SAMI MOKBEL: Newcastle have seen their latest offer for Marc Guehi turned down by Crystal Palace. Discussions are ongoing to find a positive outcome to the protracted talks, but the St James' Park club have fallen short with a recent offer, believed to be their second, for the centre back. Palace, who are exploring a return to the club for legend Wilfried Zaha, value Guehi at a minimum £65million and do not feel Newcastle's improved deal is enough to part with the England star.

Zaha departed Selhurst Park for Turkey as a free agent last summer but his current club have agreed he will be able to seek a move away just 12 months on. With the Premier League seen as a likely destination, Zaha may well seal a shock comeback to Palace in what would be his third separate spell with the Eagles. The Telegraph have claimed that a loan deal is a possibility although his hefty salary may prove a stumbling block for potential suitors. Indeed, Galatasaray are said to be demanding a fee of around £9million to cover at least some of Zaha's wages. However, his proven top-flight status and statistics during his time in England have made him an attractive option and Palace are among those open to signing him.

Wilfried Zaha is being linked with a possible return to the Premier League this summer just one year after he left England to join Galatasaray in Turkey. The 31-year-old winger produced 68 goals and 29 assists in 305 Premier League appearances for Manchester United, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace. He has netted 10 times in 42 games in all competitions following his move to Istanbul, including a goal in Galatasaray's 3-2 win at Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League in October.

Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has emerged as a target for a major European club. Wan-Bissaka has been at United since 2019 and has made 190 appearances for the club. While at United, Wan-Bissaka has won the FA Cup and the League Cup. However, his time at Old Trafford could now be set to come to an end. If the move goes ahead then Wan-Bissaka would be reunited with one of his former team-mates.
