On Thursday, Shelby County Sheriff's Office said they had been sent to a Chelsea, Alabama, home of an animal assault on a child. Authorities arrived on the site with animal control officers on hand, with the baby being taken by ambulance to a hospital. The child was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital due to injuries that police suspect the animal caused.
