A Premier League winner has returned to English football by signing for Luton Town - almost six years after his last appearance for a UK-based club. The 33-year-old spent the last four seasons in Russia at Spartak Moscow, having previously had loan spells with Inter Milan in Italy and Fenerbahce in Turkey. Luton will become the 10th club he has played for during his senior career, which began at Crystal Palace and later saw him represent Wigan, Chelsea, Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham.

'I felt something I've never felt before,' he said. 'It's really hard to explain, like, how it feels like to die, and I've never had that, but I felt what death feels like.' Moses (inset, in his wheelchair) revealed that although he will 'never be who I was when I woke up the morning of January 6' last year, he is still willing to work in or around policing in the future.

Despite this, he was forced to continue or be struck from the academy, and collapsed several more times and lost consciousness. Moses endured four agonizing months in hospital where he surgeons had to repeatedly cut away chunks of his flesh in futile attempts to save his legs.
