Martina Chapman-Clegg and her family were driven out of their home in East Malling, Kent for fear of their 'nightmare' neighbour Michael Atkinson. Atkinson subjected them to an 'obsessive' tirade of abuse, including encouraging his own three children to urinate on their car and cheering when they did, a court heard. He also subjected Mrs Chapman-Clegg to threats of violence and highly-offensive abuse - some of which was caught on camera. The harassment by the dad-of-three, who has 183 crimes to his name, went on 'relentlessly' and forced the family to move from their beloved home.

This is the terrifying moment a driver smashed into the back of a lorry at 91mph before flipping on the motorway - but avoided jail because his girlfriend is pregnant. Footage shows Arron Bond, 31, swerving violently and crashing on the M2, leaving his passenger Kerry Yates with serious injuries. A dashcam recording of the crash showed Bond's blue Volvo car careering across all three-lanes of the motorway and smashing into the rear of a lorry at high speed, before flipping over multiple times. Dangerous driver and expectant father Bond faced up to five years in prison after Ms Yates required surgery for fractures to her arm, wrist and hand. But a judge sympathised with Bond - whose girlfriend was in labour during his sentencing hearing - and handed him a suspended prison term. Maidstone Crown Court heard Bond had been driving with Ms Yates on the eastbound carriageway of the M2 between Chatham and Gillingham, Kent, in July 2022.
