In Belgian homes, the remains of TEN Battle of Waterloo victims were discovered

January 24, 2023
The extraordinary find, which was exclusively revealed in the United Kingdom by MailOnline, is all the more remarkable because only two skeletons were discovered at the Duke of Wellington's 1815 victory over Napoleon's forces. According to Bombshell reports published by MailOnline last August, the absence of remains was most likely because the majority of the horses's bones, which belonged to 20,000 men and tens of thousands of horses, were ground down and used to filter brown sugar from 1834 to 1970. Bones from what is thought to be Prussian troops have been discovered in the attic of a home near Plancenoit, where the majority of British-led troops clashed with Napoleon's forces more than 200 years ago. The owner, a former local official, had been given them by workmen who discovered them during building work in 1982. One of two skulls (left and shown in 3D top right) that was later gifted as a gift to a neighbor who displayed it in her living room, shows horrific wear, while vertebrae bear the hallmarks of sword swipes. Both skulls have been shot from every angle, allowing users to view them in 3D high definition. Four British soldiers' remains (bottom right) were discovered in Plancenoit's home shortly after. They were confiscated illegally from the war site decades ago. All the bones, which account for the largest number of casualties in modern times, are now in the custody of experts.

White sugar may have been made from the Battle of Waterloo dead
www.dailymail.co.uk,
August 18, 2022
Despite the fact that more than 200 years have passed since the Duke of Wellington's victory over Napoleon's forces in 1815, only two skeletons of fallen men have been found, with the oldest dating dating back to last month (left). But now, bombshell new results shows that the remains of men and tens of thousands of horses are missing after being ground down and used to filter brown sugar beet into refined white sugar (pictured top right, the sugar factory and refinery in Belgium), just three miles from the Waterloo battle site. Other Napoleonic war sites are likely, with sugar factories located nearby. The factory in Waterloo, Belgium, was just three miles from the graveyards from which the bones of deceased men and animals may have been recovered. Dr Bernard Wilkin and Robin Schäfer, as well as archaeologist Professor Tony Pollard of the University of Glasgow, conducted the new study, which has been exclusive to MailOnline in the United Kingdom. Hundreds of contemporary written reports in Belgian, German, and French archives that claimed that the bones were stolen from 1834 to 2045 and used for Belgium's burgeoning sugar industry. Any of this sugar may have originated in the United Kingdom and may have been used to create candy or to sweeten tea and coffee. On June 18, 1815, when an allied army under the command of Field Marshal the Duke of Wellington met forces led by Emperor Napoleon on the battlefield at Waterloo (bottom right).
