The trio sat courtside together at the Bercy Arena, with former NBA (and Olympics) star Anthony representing his country with a USA hat. There was plenty more basketball talent at the event, as Bulls legend Scottie Pippen was seen chatting with ex-Lakers center Pau Gasol, while French ex-point guard Tony Parker could be seen there as well.

Tour de France pays tribute to emotional Mark Cavendish as Sir Bradley Wiggins dubs his fellow Brit 'The GOAT' with Manx Missile set to retire after record-breaking 2024 race

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 22, 2024
British cyclist Mark Cavendish will likely retire after finishing the final stage of the Tour de France on Sunday, having finally achieved his ambition this year of breaking the all-time record for most stage wins at the Tour. As such, the Tour paid tribute to one of its finest ever sprinters with a special commemorative jersey paying homage to his new record of 35 stage wins in a single Tour.  A black jersey with 'CAXXXV' emblazoned across the front - a play on words with 'Cav' his nickname and 'XXXV' the roman numeral for 35 - was handed to him by French-American basketball legend Tony Parker in Nice on Sunday evening.

Oisin Murphy set to ride Ramatuelle at the Royal Ascot... as he looks to bring success home for NBA legend Tony Parker

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 13, 2024
DOMINIC KING IN CHANTILLY: Ramatuelle is owned by a consortium that is headed by basketball legend Tony Parker. Murphy, a three-time champion jockey whose main role is first rider for Qatar Racing, has a link to the consortium and they want to utilise his expertise around Ascot in the Coronation Stakes next Friday. Aurelien Lemaitre rode Ramatuelle when she was an unlucky loser in the QIPCO 1000 Guineas last month, with some criticising the fact he sent the filly to the front too soon. She eventually finished third, less than half-a-length behind Elmalka, the 28/1 winner. Elmalka will run in the Coronation Stakes, as will Fallen Angel, who won the Irish 1000 Guineas, and Rouhiya, who took the French equivalent. Aidan O'Brien also intends to run Opera Singer, last season's champion juvenile filly.

Who are the shortest actresses in Hollywood? And it's not just the Kardashians (hint: one lady is 4ft11in). Here is a look at the 5ft3in and under crowd

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 27, 2024
Plenty of Hollywood stars are quite short - under 5ft5in, that is - but it's hard to tell in front of the camera because they are styled to look statuesque. Platform heels, finely tailored clothing and slender frames help deceive the eye into thinking they have height when they hit the spotlight at events. On screen they may look larger than life as well, as the camera shoots them in certain ways.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Federic Donnadieu, Victor Wembanyama's first coach, has been invited by the French phenom to attend the NBA Draft in Brooklyn on Thursday, but she spoke to DailyMail.com ahead of the meeting to discuss the phenom. Donnadieu was serving as the technical director at Nanterre in Paris in 2014, when a lanky 10-year-old boy signed up to play for the Under-11s. 'Well, my first memory was when I saw him, and of course, for a 10-year-old boy, he was obviously already tall, but what I noticed most was that he had a lot of technical capability,' Donnadieu said.

How the French sensation blends with NBA lottery teams is a mystery

www.dailymail.co.uk, May 14, 2023
Victor Wembanyama, France's top export, is poised to replace wine as France's top export, a 7-foot-4 basketball sensation. He's athletic, skilled, vast, and yet only 19, so the winning team will undoubtedly be considered very lucky as the league selects its first pick on Tuesday night in New York. It's either way or not Wembanyama will feel the same way. The 14 teams in Tuesday's lottery aren't all positive, and that's by design. The lottery is supposed to enhance the league's bottom feeders by (slightly) deterring them from tanking their seasons in an attempt to land a top talent in the draft, such as Wembanyama. Mail Online's preview of Wembanyama's 14 future teams, how he'd fit, and what these clubs need to do to attract the NBA's most coveted prospect in a generation.

'It will be a fantastic time,' Nowitzki said. 'I mean, to top everything that has happened here in the last couple years, as well as words and awards that have come my way,' i'm sure, with the highest quality in our game ever.'
