As October begins, everything has been fine (amok, amok) on Disney+. On September 30, the sequel to the much-loved Halloween classic "Hocus Pocus" began streaming, delighting young and old fans alike. The Sanderson sisters, one of our favorite witches, are back and casting spells on a whole new crew of Salem, MA, residents. Jess Lee, a Rhode Island resident who channeled her enthusiasm for the 1993 original film into a background role in "Hocus Pocus 2," is one of those depicting the fictional New Englanders.
Despite Lee, 35, who isn't an actor by trade (in fact, she leads diversity, equity, and inclusion at a multinational life sciences and scientific instrumentation firm), she exercised her on-camera chops while filming the film in Newport, Rhode Island, last November.

The Sanderson sisters are back for revenge! On Tuesday (June 28), the first film's spooky teaser trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 was summoned, almost three decades since the first film was released in 1993.
The film is set 29 years after the legendary witches' true deaths. Cassie (Lilia Buckingham) wishes "good birthday" to her friend Becca (Whitney Peak) and asks about her plans. "Birthday is a holiday, and a scary movie marathon is the same as every year," she says. Ominous foreshadowing, perhaps?
